The International Chapter Conference committee is announcing its 1st Annual (ISC)² International Chapter Conference, SECON International! This event is an (ISC)² Chapter driven initiative and is fully supported by (ISC)².
Registration is FREE to all chapter members and we have over 300 registered participants from all over the world already, so come join in on the fun!

The SECON International Chapter Conference includes over 20 speakers from all over the globe, ranging from a multitude of topics across the cybersecurity spectrum. All attendees will get 3 CPEs.

Marnix Dekker (Greece) - Head of Sector NIS - ENISA, the EU agency for cybersecurity
At ENISA Marnix Dekker is Head of Sector for NIS, the networks and information systems covered by the NIS Directive. He leads several teams covering telecom security (e.g. the 5G toolbox), digital identity, trust services in the EU (under the eIDAS regulation), internet core, cloud, but also the critical vertical sectors under the NIS Directive, such as health care and transport. ENISA supports the implementation of EU cybersecurity policy across the EU and try to solve cross-cutting cybersecurity issues.
Yuri Diogenes (Texas, USA) - Principal PM Manager at C+AI Security CxE Team at Microsoft
Yuri Diogenes, a Principal PM Manager at Microsoft Cloud Security Group, manages a team of PMs for our security posture management and workload protection solution, Defender for Cloud. As part of this role, he also host a show called Defender for Cloud in the Field aka.ms/MDCInTheField, where they talk about the latest Defender for Cloud announcements. He's been working with Information Security since 2006 in many roles at Microsoft. He's also a part time Professor at EC-Council University where he teaches the Bachelors in Cybersecurity Program since 2015. He's a publisher author with more than 27 books published across the globe through publishers such as Microsoft Press, Packt Pub, Syngress, Morgan James and others. He has a Master of Science Degree in Cybersecurity Intelligence & Forensics at UTICA College and is currently working on my PhD in Cybersecurity Leadership (Capitol Technology University).
Nir Zuk (Israel) - Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Palo Alto Networks
Nir Zuk brings a wealth of network security expertise and industry experience to Palo Alto Networks. Prior to co-founding Palo Alto Networks, Nir was CTO at NetScreen Technologies, which was acquired by Juniper Networks in 2004. Prior to NetScreen, Nir was co-founder and CTO at OneSecure, a pioneer in intrusion prevention and detection appliances. Nir was also a principal engineer at Check Point Software Technologies, and was one of the developers of stateful inspection technology.

Adewale is a Professor of Business/Information System Management at the Northcentral University, California, USA. He holds a PhD in Business Administration with the dissertation cut in the Cloud Computing Implementation and Diffusion of Innovation Theory (DOI).
He has over 10 years of professional experience in different industries covering Information Security/Cyber Audit, Enterprise Risk Management, and IT/Data Governance. He’s armed with the robust knowledge of the United States and International Security, Compliance, Privacy, and Data Protection laws, regulations, and policies.
Pablo Barrera (ISC2 Guatemala Chapter) - Information and Network Security Professional
Strong technical background and consulting experience. More than 15 years in the field with regional and international positions leading organizations in their information and network security strategy. Dr. Kellep Charles (Washington DC, USA) - Risk Management Specialist, Verizon
Dr. Kellep Charles works as a government contractor in the Washington, DC area as an Information Security Analyst with over 25 years of experience in the areas of incident response, computer forensics, security assessments, malware analyst, and security operations.
He has served as a Professor at Capitol Technology University in their Computer Science & Cybersecurity department. His industry certifications include Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), National Security Agency – INFOSEC Assessment Methodology (NSA-IAM), and Information Technology Infrastructure Library version 3 (ITILv3) to name a few.
Matthew Chiodi (Pennsylvannia, USA) - Chief Trust Officer at Cerby, Former CSO at Palo Alto Networks
Matt brings over two decades of security leadership at industry leaders Palo Alto Networks, RedLock, Cognizant, Deloitte, and eBay to his role as Chief Trust Officer at Cerby. He has led world-class research including the Palo Alto Networks Unit 42 Cloud Threat team and served on boards of directors including Infragard, an FBI/private sector partnership for the protection of critical infrastructure. Chiodi also currently serves on faculty at IANS Research.
Jon France (United Kingdom) - CISO at (ISC)²
Information Security professional and CISO at (ISC)2. Driven by a passion for technology and security in the tech enabled era, where societal reliance on technology is pervasive for social, economic, and physical health. Henry Frith (Florida, USA) - VP of Customer Success & Sales Engineering at Votiro
Henry Frith, VP Customer Success and Sales Engineering, brings 30 years of industry knowledge to Votiro and our customers. He has a strong background in email security, encryption, public key infrastructure, data leak prevention, user authentication and cloud security. He has worked for many security vendors including Sophos, PGP, Symantec, Proofpoint, McAfee and Cofense before joining Votiro. He began his career as a Secure Telecommunication Specialist in the US Army. Henry is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) in good standing since Jan. 2012.
Jacek Grymuza (ISC2 Poland Chapter) - Senior Security Architect at Sycope
Jacek Grymuza has been dealing with security for over 14 years, mainly in areas such as Security Operations, Communications and Network Security, Security Architecture and Engineering, Security Assessment and Testing, Asset Security, and Security and Risk Management. In addition, he has been a board member of (ISC) 2 Chapter Poland for many years.

Anil Karmel (ISC2 National Capital Region Chapter) - Co-Founder and CEO at RegScale
Anil Karmel is the Co-Founder and CEO of RegScale, which delivers freedom from (digital) paper by helping organizations shift both security and compliance left via our RegScale continuous compliance automation platform. Formerly, Anil served as the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Deputy Chief Technology Officer.
Anil currently serves as the President of the Cloud Security Alliance's Washington DC Metro Area Chapter (CSA-DC) and as a member of the CSA's CxO Trust Advisory Council. Karmel is a nationally recognized speaker and has been featured at numerous IT conferences and webinars.
Yiannis Koukouras (ISC2 Hellenic Chapter) - Managing Director at TwelveSec
Yiannis has over 15 years of experience in the Cyber Security domain, specialising in the consulting services area. He started his career as a network security administrator and member of the CERT team at the Corps of Computing and Research of the Greek Army. He then went on to offer IS consulting services to various companies across the globe, gaining valuable, hands-on experience. Yiannis has partnered with some of the leading Information Security companies in the EMEA region and has accrued knowledge in working across different regions and industries, both on the field of security management and information security assurance.
Jose Lagdameo Jr. (ISC2 New Jersey Chapter) - Director, Information Security | Asia BISO at Prudential Financial
Jose is a Director of Information Security for Prudential Financial, working within the Prudential International Insurance BISO team supporting Asia. He has been in Information Technology for more than 20 years, with 15 years in Information Security.

Emmanuel Nicaise (ISC2 Belux Chapter) - Cyber Serenity architect - Human-Centric Cyber Security
Emmanuel is a senior Information Technology & security leader, with an expertise in the human aspects of security management (stakeholders management, behaviour & cultural change) and in governance combined with a strong technical background. He has extensive experience in international organizations from all sizes and from various sectors (Finance, Bio-Pharma, Communication, Mobility, Non-Profit).

Andang Nugroho (ISC2 Jakarta Chapter) - President at ISC2 Jakarta Chapter
Extensive consulting services in the area of office automation, networking infrastructure design, network security, data communication to remote areas, and budgeting, while working as system engineer for Schlumberger Oilfield Services. Clients include national and multinational oil companies such as Mandala Geothermal, Premier Oil Natuna Sea Limited and Conoco Indonesia Inc. as well as internal clients.
Expertise over information security topics: security assessments, audits, information security measure implementations: firewalls, IDS and virtual networks. Brandon Pugh (Pennsylvania, USA) - Resident Senior Fellow, Cybersecurity and Emerging Threats at R Street Institute
Brandon Pugh is a resident senior fellow and policy counsel for the Cybersecurity and Emerging Threats team. Outside of R Street, he serves as an international law officer in the U.S. Army Reserve where he worked on the Army Cyber Institute’s critical infrastructure resiliency project. Brandon is also a board member for the Ithaca College Cybersecurity Program and for a governor’s advisory council.
Philipp Reisinger (ISC2 Austria Chapter) - Information Security Consultant at SBA Research and Lecturer at FH St. Pölten
Philipp received a bachelor’s degree in IT-Security at the St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences in 2013 and received a master’s degree in Information Security at the St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences in 2015. For his master thesis he conducted a survey in which he analyzed the security posture of companies in Austria, Germany and Switzerland.
